Mike Ventura launched Ventura & Co. in 1993 following a distinguished career in senior management at two iconic radio broadcast groups. During that time, he led his stations to new revenue heights, and established a national reputation for creating unique promotional marketing and brand partnership concepts in the radio business.
Vco started as an experiential (promotional) agency focused on creating brand partnership programs between media companies and brand marketers. Clients included the Cox Television Stations, Belo Broadcast Group, Freedom Newspapers, Fox Owned Television Stations, Fox Sports South, Toyota, Anheuser-Busch, BellSouth, Lincoln-Mercury, Georgia Tourism, Best Western, Chevrolet, Coca Cola and Miller Beer. By 2000, Vco’s client base consisted of 33 major and large market TV stations, 22 newspapers and 17 Fortune 500 brand marketers.
In 2002, Mike shifted Vco’s focus to the then just-emerging digital marketing channel. Utilizing its experience in traditional and promotional marketing, Vco was able to create early stage digital consumer engagement programs targeting luxury homebuilders and resort / second-home housing markets. Ventura & Co, became a marketing-industry leader in the use of digital channels, developing web and digital strategy based on the consumer’s / user’s behavior. With the rise of social media in 2007, Vco became early adopters in the use of social media channels for marketing. Mike learned the value of consumer engagement early-on in his radio career, and was able to adapt that experience to social channels. Today, Vco is noted for its expertise in social media marketing through creating content and ideas that engage consumers along with proprietary content and posting strategy matrices. We continue to be industry leaders in the social space.

Mike is a respected marketing strategist, and continues to work with both established and emerging companies to design and develop customer acquisition and revenue strategies, He has been a featured speaker at meetings of the American Marketing Association, Association of National Advertisers,Television Bureau of Advertising, Radio Advertising Bureau and numerous local and regional marketing groups. He’s been the personal recipient awards from the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As), Promotional Marketing Association, ADDYs (American Advertising Federation) and AdWeek / BrandWeek Magazine’s Sports and Event Marketing Awards. In 2013, he was honored with an Award of Excellence for Marketing in the State of Georgia.
Mike lives in Atlanta, GA. He has led the national re-branding efforts of his college fraternity, is involved in his local community, holds a U.S Coast Guard Master Mariner’s (Captain’s) license and is an enthusiastic sailor, participating in more than 100 sailing regattas. In 1994, with four friends, he sailed his 35 foot sailboat from Tampa, FL to Havana, Cuba and back – a trip that he describes as “exhilarating.”
