Elaine is our Director of Business Development. She is responsible for developing new business for VCo and the sales and promotion of our My Atlanta Moms mommy blog. She started out as a traditional media (TV) buyer and has worked for some of America's best-known marketing agencies: Phillips-DDN; J. Walter Thompson – Mindshare, Y&R – Mediaedge and WestWayne (now 22Squared). As a buyer, Elaine was responsible for the million+ $ TV budgets of AT&T Wireless, Ford, Lincoln-Mercury, Paramount – 20th Century Fox, Taco Bell and KFC. She moved to the "seller" side and became a sales manager for TV rep Millennium TV Sales and Marketing. After just two years, she was promoted to sales manager. She was honored as the Atlanta Broadcast Advertising Club's "Sales Manager of the Year" in both 2008 and 2009. Elaine's vast experience in traditional media is a benefit to our clients, as she understands "traditional" strategy and is able to develop digital plans that both enhance and expand traditional marketing efforts.
Elaine's from Chattanooga, TN and has a degree in Communications and Political Science from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga. Elaine loves city living – Piedmont Park, Fernbank Museum and the many neighborhood shops and restaurants. During the summer, it takes little encouragement to get her started on a road trip to the beach. She's our resident "group buying" junkie and the go-to gal for info on Groupon, LivingSocial, Scoutmob and all the other deal sites, many of which we've never heard of!
